Technical Drawing Consultant

Salary:               £25,000

We’re not seeking tonnes of experience – we’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, grow, and develop over time. If you’ve got enthusiasm, a keen eye for design, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves in a small but dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in sales consultations and calls with the goal of growing into an external sales position
• Designing full layouts using bespoke design software (don’t worry – we’ll provide full training!)
• Suggesting ideas for lighting placement and layout to maximise impact and functionality
• Collaborating internally and externally to discuss and refine plans with both customers and teams
• Playing a crucial role in pricing and costing production work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Providing administrative support to keep everything running smoothly
• Contributing to customer service – we’re a small company, so everyone chips in, including answering the phone!

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who’s passionate about learning and growing within a business
• A creative thinker with an interest in design and problem-solving
• Experience with or a qualification in CAD software is a big plus – it would make transitioning into the design elements of this role even easier!
• A proactive team player who’s willing to get involved across various functions
• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be liaising with both customers and internal teams
• A “can-do” attitude with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, small business environment
