About the Role:

 

  • Verify data in the payroll system, ensuring accuracy during data uploads for EBA Award increases, while also keeping up to date with any legislative changes.
  • Offer assistance to managers and employees on all payroll-related matters.
  • Build strong internal relationships and deliver prompt, efficient customer service by resolving payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to line managers and staff, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy in payroll systems and adherence to governance standards.

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Previous payroll experience in a similar end to end role is essential.
  • Exposure to high-volume payroll system, preferably using iChris.
  • Experience with large volume of employees is desired.
  • An in depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to deal with high pressure and work to tight deadlines whilst working independently.
