My client is looking for a Strategy Manager – Aerospace Data to join on them on a permanent basis.
The Strategy Manager – Aerospace Data will enable other inhouse leadership teams to make key commercial decisions, through your ability to analyse and interpret large datasets, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights.
In addition, you will be supporting initiatives to improve operational effectiveness across the businesses ‘Aircraft Component Sector’. You will collaborate with senior leaders, presenting actionable insights to C-level executives.
Minimum of 3 years in a data science or data analysis role, with a strong preference for experience within the aviation, manufacturing, or MRO industry.
Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, programming languages (e.g., Python), and data visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau etc.) required.
Role: Strategy Manager – Aerospace Data (Permanent Position)
Pay: From £45,800
Location: West London

Main responsibilities:
• Analyse data, build models, and generate insights for commercial decision-making purposes.
• Gather and analyse market data to develop aviation market models to inform strategic recommendations
• Develop and deliver high-level presentations to C-level executives, clearly communicating data-driven insights and recommendations that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Support Operational Effectiveness improvement measures, e.g. Make vs Buy decisions, MRO Cost-Down initiatives, Digitalisation/Digitisation initiatives
• Lead and manage strategic projects from inception to completion against scope, time and budget.
• Stay current on industry trends, particularly in the aviation and MRO sectors, and use this knowledge to shape the company's strategy.
Ideal candidate profile:
• Minimum of 3 years in a data science or data analysis role, with a strong preference for experience within the aviation, manufacturing, or MRO industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA or Master's in Data Analytics) are a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, programming languages (e.g., Python), and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
• Appreciation of data governance across cloud computing (MS Azure, MS Synapse) and data bases (SQL)
• Excellent financial and commercial acumen
• Familiarity with aviation operations, preferably within an MRO environment.
• Advanced skills in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Project Management-tools
• Professional-level English language skills are essential
• Strong project management experience with a willingness to take ownership of strategic initiatives and lead teams across a matrix organisation.
• Willingness to travel as required.
