Aircraft Maintenance and Reliability Engineer

Aircraft Maintenance and Reliability Engineer (BBBH14198) Malta

I am seeking an Aircraft Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join my highly successful and growing client in Malta.
The role will be 100% office based at the client’s site in Malta and will report to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • The development &revision of aircraft maintenance programs
  • The management & monitoring of aircraft maintenance programs
  • The monitoring & assessment of maintenance programme related documentation, issued by the manufacturer, EASA and applicable Authorities
  • Initiation of regular maintenance program reviews
  • Calculation of aircraft performance reliability parameters from the aircraft historical records
  • Undertaking reliability analyses and initiation of actions for reliability improvements
  • Monitoring and analysis of Component Strip reports from the manufacture, identifying solutions to improve aircraft reliability
  • Preparation of regular reliability board meetings and regular reliability reporting to senior management
  • Supporting engineering and planning for continued airworthiness of aircraft and to identify solutions to improve reliability
  • Creation and revision of internal procedures, instructions and technical information



Ideal candidate profile:

  • Engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance program / reliability concepts (i.e. MSG-3) and applicable documentation
  • Experience with applicable regulations, maintenance methods and application of aviation safety standards
  • High determination, service orientation and ability to work in a team
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to work in under pressure and to deadlines
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Previous knowledge using CAMP software would be beneficial
