What you will be doing

As a qualifiedRMN/RNLDnurse – either with experience or a preceptee – you will ensure male adults with mental health conditions receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork.

No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

Where you will be working

At The Spinney, we offer a range of care settings for male patients with personality disorder and/or mental illness. The purpose-built medium, low secure and rehabilitation wards, as well as a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) are all set within an 11 acre site with extensive woodland and landscaped areas.

The Spinney provides:

• 55 medium secure beds (Shevington, Rivington, Pennington and Hesketh wards)
• 25 low secure beds (Hindsford and Lever wards)
• 3 beds inpatient rehabilitation (Milford ward)
• 10 PICU beds (Hulton Ward)
