The Role:

As a Clinical Manager, you will be an integral part of the leadership team, working closely with the Residential Manager and two other Clinical Managers to oversee clinical operations for a 144-bed aged care residence. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, mentoring staff, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of clinical professionals and care staff
  • Oversee clinical governance and ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Manage admissions, care planning, and clinical assessments
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and funding requirements
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current AHPRA registration
  • 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Manager or in a similar aged care leadership role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
  • Proven experience in staff supervision and professional development
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with clinical software systems
  • Postgraduate qualifications in gerontology (desirable)
