Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse 2IC) – Regional Relocation 3½ hours from Melbourne.

This 60-bed high care facility, including a specialised memory support unit, dedicated to providing compassionate, resident-focused care. Built by the community, for the community, it continues to be a proud pillar of support for the elderly population in Deniliquin and surrounding areas.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

As the Clinical Lead, you will act as the second-in-charge (2IC), supporting the DOC in overseeing the clinical operations of the facility. Your role will involve leading and mentoring the clinical nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained, and supporting the overall management of the facility’s clinical services. You will be dynamic and confident Registered Nurse with proven leadership experience who is ready to make a tangible impact in aged care. As a Clinical Lead, you will be both hands-on and strategic, supporting the DOC in clinical operations while building strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Aged care experience with a strong clinical background.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a clinical team.
  • Competence in clinical documentation, care planning, and medication management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire both staff and residents.
  • A passion for improving the quality of care and an eye for detail in clinical compliance.
  • Full working rights in Australia (NO SPONSORSHIP).
  • A car is recommended for commuting purposes.
