Position: Team Leader (Food Production)

Type: 12 Weeks Temp to Perm

Location: Driffield

Starting Salary: £13 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour after completion of training

Company Overview:

Join our dynamic team in a leading food production company where quality and safety are our top priorities. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee our production processes and ensure the highest standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team in a chilled food production environment.
• Operate and oversee machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including handling and IOSH level standards.
• Ensure quality control with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Implement and monitor KPIs, lean principles, and six sigma methodologies.
• Utilise Microsoft Excel and Sage for data management and reporting.

Qualifications:

• GCSE equivalent in Maths and English.
• Proven background in food production.
• Strong leadership skills with hands-on experience.
• Food hygiene certification.
• Experience in a lean principal environment, preferably six sigma trained.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage is a plus.
