Job Title: Tug Driver

everything they do. Therefore looking for a reliable and skilled Tug Driver to

join there team on an ongoing temporary basis. If you have a passion for

logistics and safety, this could be the perfect role for you! 

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Safely operate tug vehicles to move

trailers, containers, and other equipment within the yard or to designated

locations. 

·       Adhere to all safety guidelines and

procedures while driving and manoeuvring equipment. 

·       Perform pre- and post-trip

inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. 

·       Collaborate with warehouse and

dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. 

·       Assist in loading and unloading of

goods, as needed. 

·       Report any vehicle or equipment

issues to management promptly. 

·       Maintain accurate records of moves

and transportation activities. 

·       Follow all company policies and

legal requirements, including hours of service and road safety laws. 

Requirements: 

·       Valid in date Tug License. 

·       Previous experience operating tugs

or similar heavy machinery preferred. 

·       Strong knowledge of vehicle

maintenance and safety protocols. 

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced

environment with tight schedules. 

·       Good communication and teamwork

skills. 

·       Flexibility to work shifts,

including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. 

·       Physical fitness to handle manual

tasks and long periods of driving.
