Salary: AUD160000 - AUD165000 per annum + + Super + $16K Salary Packaging

Our client is a Not-for-Profit and a highly renowned aged care provider operating residential aged care facilities and retirement communities in Perth.  Working alongside the CEO, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of their residential aged care facilities and home care service and have outstanding experience in operational management and strategy, clinical governance and service delivery.  
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day operational management of the facilities
  • Ensure residents experience high quality support, care and services
  • Drive optimal business outcomes and a culture of safety
  • Coach and support direct reports adhering to values of the organisation
  • Lead, manage and motivate staff to continue to achieve high standards
  • Ensure operational KPIs and maintain standards of care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
  • Strategically and collaboratively ensure accountability within the team to meet accreditation standards

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience as a General Manager/Operations Manager working within the Aged Care sector
  • High level experience in day-to-day operational management 
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, human and asset management
  • Demonstrated leadership and management and commercial acumen skills
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic workforce planning
  • Experience in leading and driving continuous quality improvement and risk management systems
  • Experience in the resolution of critical risks and issues
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on leadership and customer service
  • Current AHPRA Registration and Bachelor of Nursing with clinical experience is essential
  • Change, project management aligning operational strategies/goal with governance strategies and outcomes
  • COVID and Influenza vaccinations
