Casualty Sports NQ-3 PQE – Leicester

This top law firm is seeking a solicitor to join their Leicester office.  The firm are recognised as a leading legal employer, are ranked in L500 and Chambers and are expanding their sports department.

Working in a dedicated team, you will assist Partners and Principal Associates in the defence of a wide range of claims, often high value and high profile, on behalf of sports’ governing bodies, competitors, sports clubs, and their insurers. Tasks will include assisting with significant disclosure and document reviews including e-Discovery, preparing witness statements, undertaking legal and factual research, drafting instructions to Counsel and experts, preparing reports to clients, preparing for and attending court hearings and attending client meetings.

You will have experience in the following:

• Assisting with EL and PL personal injury claims
• Experience of handling you own casualty caseload is desirable
• Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules

You will also be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in sport and sports related claims.
