Aviation Safety Manager

Location: Stans, Switzerland

Responsabilities

  • Responsibility for safety management at corporate level as nominated safety manager
  • Expansion of the existing SMS to a group-wide safety management system
  • Management of the Pilatus Safety Board and processing of safety issues in SMS
  • Conducting security investigations, error and risk analyses
  • Execution of internal and external audits as well as training (e.g. SMS training) and awareness campaigns
  • Creation of safety reports including the relevant KPIs and ensuring compliance in the area of SMS

Requirements

  • Basic technical training followed by studies as a technician HF or engineer
  • Further training and several years of experience in Quality & Safety Management in aviation and very good knowledge of EASA regulations
  • In-depth user knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good communication skills in German and English (level C1)
  • Strong social skills with very good communication skills
  • Solution-oriented and pragmatic personality
