My client, the Training Academy of one of the world's leading companies in aircraft design and construction, is looking for:
 

ROLE: Helicopter Instructor Pilot
LOCATION: Qatar
CONTRACT: 1 YEAR


My client needs to find two highly qualified pilot, to be included in the Flight and Specialty Instructor Team already operating in Qatar, on NH90 NFH helicopter, to support the activities of the Qatar Emiri Air Force. The candidates shall have extensive experience flying military helicopters, with specific skills in instructional flying of the NH90 NFH. The pilot will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the helicopter, constantly ensuring flight safety and operational efficiency in a variety of both instructional and technical-operational missions MAIN RESPONSABILITIES: 

The main responsibilities of the instructor pilots will be:
 

  • conduct safe and efficient flight operations on board the NH90 helicopter, in compliance with safety regulations and operating procedures;
  • carry out assigned missions with precision and professionalism, including transport, surveillance, search/rescue and air-naval operations; 
  • maintain and update your operational technical expertise regarding the NH90 NFH helicopter by participating in training and development sessions;
  • collaborate with other crew members and ground personnel to ensure the safety and success of flight operations;
  • conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, carrying out the appropriate inspection procedures and reporting any anomalies or technical problems;
  • communicate clearly and precisely with other crew members and ground personnel during flight operations;
  • strictly comply with aeronautical and military regulations, as well as company policies relating to safety and flight operations.


REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for the profile are:Commercial or military helicopter pilot license, current instrument rating with specific certification for the NFH90;

  • documented experience in piloting military helicopters with the role of flight instructor, preferably with at least 1000 flight hours carried out as pilot on NH90 NFH.
  • specific knowledge and documented experience in the management of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) systems (sonars and sonobuoys) and Anti Surface Warfare (ASUW).
  • in-depth knowledge of the operating systems and flight characteristics of the NH90 NFH. 
  • documented experience in operating onboard of naval helicopter carriers. 
  • ability to work in adverse weather conditions and challenging operating environments.
  • excellent English communication and collaboration skills in a team environment. 
  • orientation towards safety and operational precision. 
  • Adequate knowledge of the Mission Preparation and Analysis System (MPAS). 
  • Medical certification in order for the flight
