What we’re looking for

This role focuses on delivering exceptional legal advice that empowers the business while ensuring regulatory compliance across all departments.

Acting as a trusted adviser to the leadership team and key stakeholders, the Senior Legal Adviser will be responsible for:

• Leading on the provision of expert legal advice to our senior management team and business colleagues across the breadth of our company activities, including sales, customer service, and contract management
• Ensuring the company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations across the board, from consumer protection to GDPR.
• Supporting the documentation and management of legal risks across all areas of the business, and any relevant contributions to corporate governance frameworks
• The provision of legal support on business change projects, compliance/legal queries
• Supporting the renewal/updating of customer contract Terms and Conditions
• Provision of advice on the legal implications of regulatory changes, keeping the business informed and prepared for any changes in legislation that may impact operations, ensuring resilience in a dynamic legal landscape; you will be involved in the development of internal policies to address legal risks.

Ideally, you will have experience working in a regulated environment, particularly in utilities regulation e.g. water, energy, telecoms, and financial services.

• Part-time - 22 hours per week.
• Salary up to £65,000 (FTE) plus bonus up to 20% (Prorated)
