Fantastic role for a seasoned Environment Manager ready to take ownership of complex IT infrastructures. You’ll be part of a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our diverse cloud and on-premises environments.

You'll be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations. The successful candidate in this role will be an excellent, confident communicator, as well as having a good strong understanding of Azure environments.

The role:

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT environments, from planning and setup to maintenance and optimization, ensuring high availability.
• Act as a central point of contact for environment-related activities across multiple projects, collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Implement and enhance automation strategies to streamline build, test, and release processes, reducing manual intervention.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving the adoption of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Develop and maintain self-service capabilities for environment activities, empowering development teams.
• Ensure consistent and repeatable environment configurations, leveraging containerization and cloud technologies.
• Support the deployment of production releases, from planning to go-live, ensuring stability and minimal disruption.
  

About you:

• Extensive experience managing complex IT environments, with a strong understanding of cloud (Azure) and on-premises infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver solutions in fast-paced, large-team technical environments.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platforms, RESTful APIs, and deploying PaaS solutions.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps will be beneficial.
• Demonstrated expertise in build and release management, with a focus on automating and streamlining processes.
