The Company
Our client is a privately owned; leading healthcare technology company with over 20 years in the industry. They provide new modular medical spaces, mobile theatres and building service installation/ maintenance works to live clinical environments across the UK.
The Project
As an experienced Planner you will provide specialised planning knowledge and produce comprehensive project schedules on a £20m healthcare extension in South West London. With your expertise in planning software and methodologies, you will manage a detailed project schedule, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery of the project.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following experience;
- Experienced in the use of planning software such as Asta Powerproject
- Proven experience of working on projects within healthcare and/or modular sectors is advantageous but not essential
- Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working with leading construction contractors
- A demonstrated track record of working on new build/refurbishment projects with build values in excess of £10m in a comparable role
- A proven track record of delivering high quality plans and schedules on projects that were successfully delivered on time and within budget

- Expertise in utilizing planning software and methodologies to create detailed project schedules
- Proven experience in planning and project management, preferably within the construction industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Duties
- Manage relationships with stakeholders
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Conduct regular quality audits and assessments
- Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Contribute to the strategic decision-making process
- Implement effective solutions to keep projects on track
- Oversee the planning process from initiation to completion
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation
- Address and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle
- Implement risk management plans to address unforeseen challenges
- Monitor and manage project timelines to ensure adherence to deadlines
- Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables
- Oversee projects meet with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them effectively
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining the scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on project analyses
- Create detailed project timelines, taking into account critical milestones and dependencies
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the organization or specific projects
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, team members, and regulatory bodies
- Keep on track with project management tools and technologies to enhance planning and coordination processes
