Position Overview: As a Lead Multi-Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the optimal functioning of building services within their clients' facilities. You will lead a team of skilled engineers, ensuring that planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems will be crucial in maintaining the safety, comfort, and efficiency of the properties they serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers during shift operations.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive maintenance measures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the procurement of spare parts and materials as needed.
  • Mentor and train junior maintenance engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in building services.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  • Relevant technical certifications or qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
