Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings.
- Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime and disruptions.
- Basic testing and inspection work and electrical installations
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all electrical tasks are executed to the highest standards.
- Install, test, and maintain lighting, wiring, and control systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient resolutions for electrical failures or hazards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, utilising computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) where applicable.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within building services or a related field.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
- AM2 & JIB Gold Card
