Data Analyst - Reporting, 6 month contract
Job Purpose
The Data analyst - Reporting – UK has accountability for our data maintenance, cleansing and quality control in support of reporting on actionable business insights. Understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases is required. This role engages across different teams both locally, above country and internationally to engage with stakeholders and elicit business requirements to drive value, insight, and growth to the business.
Core Responsibilities
System Administration
- Manage/support the data and solutions of the data ecosystem in the UK market.
- Extract, cleanse, merge and transform data from internal & external sources to ready them for loading and reporting.
- Engage above country to ensure data needs for international reporting needs are met.
- Identify and maintain ongoing system improvements in line with UK strategy, and wider business plans.
- Work within the UK business to define and deliver needs of the business at all levels and functions.
- Maintain close relationships with above country teams to identify needs and maintain solutions provided.
Analytics
- Supporting Head of Field Force Effectiveness to present key insights on field force activity (Reach & Frequency, Call Rate)
- Ability to create reports, extract and load data in our data platforms including Power BI
- Work with business and team members to deliver the business data needs and reporting in line with the Systems & Analytics roadmap.
Data Quality
- Provide quality assurance of data, identifying common issues to be escalated for correction/automation to above country teams.
- Contribute towards overall data quality strategy.
- Ability to extract, merge, transpose, cleanse and present data effectively using multiple systems

Training & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in associated field desired
- IT literate. Able to use standard business software and communication tools. Advanced use of MS Excel
- Qulaifications in the use of PowerBI desirable.
Experience
- Experience using and developing business reports.
- A good knowledge of Power BI and power query required.
- Use of CRM systems to extract data/diagnose problems a plus.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Excel to analyse and present data.
- Experience in animal health, human health, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences is a plus but not essential
Travel Requirement - Occasional travel within UK, Ireland & Nordics
