About this physiology role
The purpose of this role is to deliver health assessments that are designed to support our clients in achieving their health and wellbeing goals through effective lifestyle management.
Reporting to Clinic manager this role means working alongside a multidisciplinary team of doctors, other physiologists, physiotherapists and other health professionals, as well as the relevant managers.
Key requirements of this role are:
- The efficient and safe delivery of clinical services based on Nuffield Health Wellbeing models and Care Pathways
- To ensure each centre is presented attractively and consumables are replenished daily to a required level for all services offered
- To support the implementation of clinical requirements of the centres on a day-to-day basis
- To take responsibility for managing day-to-day issues that may arise, including (but not limited to) equipment and consumables
- The successful applicant's base location will be Edinburgh but this is a mobile role
Physiology qualifications, experience, skills and values
The minimum requirement is a 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree, or an equivalent degree. You’ll be able to prove that you’ve studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition. The practical application of this knowledge is also essential, so relevant experience is desired.

Salary - £21,649 per annum

Weekly Hours - 40 hours
