The Opportunity
As our Housekeeping Team Leader you will:
- To supervise a housekeeping team
- To Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the hospital at all times
- To undertake general housekeeping duties alongside the housekeeping teams
- To monitor, maintain stock levels for the team, ordering when required
- To ensure Health & Safety and hygiene requirements within the area of responsibility are met
- To handle complaints within area of responsibility, either dealing with them directly or escalating as appropriate
The Person
To succeed as a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will need:
- Relevant experience within a similar environment
- Experience of supervising staff within a similar environment
- Well organised with good time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and empathy skills with a friendly personality
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and plan around customer needs
- NVQ Level 2 in Housekeeping or equivalent qualification
- Flexibility is essential for this role.

Salary - £18,000 per annum

Location - Leicester
Hours - Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. This role is contracted to 37.5 hours per week, shift patterns will be arranged on a variable rota basis and may include early mornings, weekends and late shift working.
