Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Kaituruki - Midwifery Clinical Learning Experience Coordinator to join Te Kura Tapuhi Hauora - School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Practice on a permanent, part-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination of quality clinical learning experiences for undergraduate midwifery students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination of Quality Clinical Learning Experiences (CLE) for the Bachelor of Midwifery (BMid).
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with CLE providers and the midwifery sector.
  • Monitoring MyMidPort (online student practice assessment platform).
  • Work with Pasifika and Māori CLE Liaison Tutors to support Pasifika and Māori student success.

You will be an organised, innovative, customer-focused individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a small team and who seeks excellence in process management and policy compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in placement or rostering coordination.
  • Personable and engaging.
  • Commitment to student learning.
  • Eligible to work in NZ and hold a relevant work visa.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office suite.
