Purchase Ledger Assistant

Are you ready to take your accounting skills to the next level? Search is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant for a client based in East Kilbride. This exciting role involves supporting all aspects of the daily purchase ledger function and includes some reception duties.

What We're Looking For:
- A keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills with staff at all levels across the business.
- A methodical, diligent, and proactive approach to tasks.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a construction environment is a plus but not essential.
- Strong multitasking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Issue purchase orders as needed.
- Accurately and promptly match purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, and process goods received and purchase invoices to the ledger according to internal procedures.
- Resolve supplier and site queries efficiently.
- Arrange accommodation for site personnel as instructed.
- Handle general filing tasks.
- Perform any ad hoc duties as required.
