A large and successful company in the production manufacturing industry has an immediate need for an additional maintenance fitter. This company manufactures steel products and supplies them nationwide.

As a maintenance mechanical fitter, your responsibilities will include conducting repairs, general maintenance, and preventive service work on production machines, conveyor systems, and potentially injection moulding machines, depending on your skills.

You will be working on high-speed production machines that manufacture large steel products and maintaining their conveyor systems. As the company expands and adds plastic injection moulding machines, you may also be responsible for maintaining them.

This position is suitable for trade-qualified mechanical fitters with a diverse range of skills from the food or production metal component manufacturing industries.

The role offers a casual start position with a pay rate of $55 per hour plus super and any allowances, with the potential to become a permanent position.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Must have Trade qualifications.
• Experience in the production manufacturing industry.
• Food or injection moulding is also ideal
• A forklift license is ideal but not a necessity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be an Australian resident.
