Great opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the southeastern suburbs, this well-established company has a strong stable history in Automation Equipment has been in business for over 50 years with many long term employees

They have a need for a Team Leader / Supervisor / Leading Hand for their welding section. In this new position, you will get involved in various hands on duties and assist in the management team. You will have 6 team members reporting to you and you will report to the works manager.

You will be responsible for all fabrication and welding works plus some sub assembly of machines and parts as set by the Manufacturing Manager. 

This is a hands-on Leadership position where you will be expected to work autonomously / individually or with your team as work requires. You will lead jobs and the team in the workshop and possibly at times on-site to ensure equipment is installed.

Some travel may be required for installations and offsite work.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications.
• Welding experience
• Supervisory skills/experience.
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) A MUST.
• Computer skills
• ERP skills/experience ideal
