Great opportunity to join a large and successful Machinery & workshop Equipment supplier in the Dandenong area, this well-established company has strong stable history in supplying to the handy man and major industrial engineering businesses around Australia.

They have a position available for an electrical fitter that can get involved in mechanical and electrical work. This position that will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the workshop. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

Reporting to the Service Manager your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) be responsible for specific part build and general maintenance on machines. Most work is on new machines minor maintenance and machine builds and assembly.

Your main role will be to check and inspect new machines as they come in to ensure are at company standards and safety requiements. Most work will be workshop based and has a strong electrical component.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications
• Electrical Licence
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Australian trade certificate
• Knowledge and experience in hydraulics would be ideal
