Great opportunity to join a large and successful Machinery & workshop Equipment supplier in the south eastern suburbs, this well-established company has strong stable history in supplying to the handy man and major industrial engineering businesses around Australia.

They have a position available for a fitter that can get involved in mechanical and electrical work. This position will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the workshop. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

Reporting to the Service Manager your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) be responsible for specific part build and general maintenance on machines. Most work is on new machines minor maintenance and machine builds and assembly.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Australian trade certificate
• Knowledge and experience in electrical or hydraulics ideal
