Great opportunity to join a Market Leading Engineering business in the Preston area specialising in the Mining industry.

This well-established company has strong stable history in Drilling /Tooling for the Mining Sector and have plants Nationally.

They are looking for a Trade Assistant to help out with various duties in the workshop. They have modern CNC and Fitter shop and your will will vary..

This role will involve various tasks such as mechanical assembly using various hand tool assembling large and smaller components. You will assist with collection of parts ready for assembly. Some work will involve prepping and cleaning of parts. This may involve filing, grinding and deburring.

You will be doing work for many industries with a large amount from the Mining sector.
This is a perm full time position. Medical and police check are involved.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS

• Trade Assistant experience in a manufacturing workshop
• Forklift exp with Lic ideal
• Ability to use various hand tool
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings
• Ability to use measuring tools.
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
