Great opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the Northern Territory, Darwin. This successful engineering business is looking for a CNC Machinist to do various machining duties.

This is new position that will involve various tasks. You will need to be flexible and willing to move around the shop floor as everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

Your role will be reporting to the MD, and your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) CNC machining on CNC lathe and mill, operating and setting machines plus CAM programming. Most work will be low volume and jobbing type.

We need a person for the long term someone that wants a steady position in a company that offers a variety of work.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications.
• High attention to detail.
• Lathe and Milling exp.
• Cam exp ideal too.
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work from engineering drawings.
