Successful Engineering Company based in the south East suburbs, specialising in the design and manufacture of Automation equipment has been in business for over 50 years and now has a vacancy for a fitter / Machine Builder.

• This is a new position that will involve various tasks.

• It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand.

• Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

• Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) being responsible for building and assembling special purpose machines.

• You will be doing general fitting, some minor welding, and of course using variety of hand tools. ideally you will have a strong back ground in machine Building. 

• This is a great opportunity to join a very successful engineering and manufacturing company with a very well established history.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications.
• Machine build experience.
• Fitting background.
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
