This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is booming and now needs an additional Assembly Worker to join their Day shift team. They are a large metal cutting and sheet metal business based in Boronia area.

In this new position you will maximize production output / quality by assembling jobs to the highest standard, and by adhering to production plans and priorities. In addition, to help keep processes running as efficiently as possible by assisting trades. You will also maintain a safe, clean work environment whilst attending to the customers and deliveries and maintaining housekeeping at a high level.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Read/Interpret technical drawings.
• Use of hand tools or machines.
• Processing paperwork.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
• Packing completed jobs and placing in allocated area.
• Measure completed components.
• Forklift driving.
• May get involved with Deliveries, pick-ups and general factory/office tasks.

• Have previous parts assembling experience
• Ability to use various hand tools
• Use accurately measure equipment
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Forklift licence ideal.
