This is a great opportunity to join a successful Engineering and Manufacturing business in the Eastern suburbs. This well-established company has a strong, stable history in the Manufacturing Sector and has 70 staff.

They have a spotless and modern workshop with the latest CNC Machine technology and a large modern office space.
As the new HR person in this business, your role will vary, but essentially, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Hiring and onboarding
  • Maintain employee files and records
  • Workers Compensation and OH&S requirements
  • Knowledge of visa regulations
  • Managing company policies and practices
  • Performance management
  • Policies and procedures
  • Employee support
  • Training and development
  • Providing HR advice to employees and managers
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting
  • Policy development and documentation
  • Relationship management between employees and employers

As the HR person in this business, you will need strong communication, problem-solving, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • HR qualifications
  • Experience in HR
  • Ideally, come from a Manufacturing industry.
  • Understanding of Aust Visa & Vic Workplace Laws
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
