Great opportunity to join a Market Leading Engineering business in the Preston / Heidelberg area. This well-established company has a strong, stable history in Drilling /Tooling for the Mining Sector.

They are looking for a Fitter/ Machinist for workshop-based work. The role will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) Being responsible for the Repair and Refurbishment of Drilling Products, including Warranty Repairs, Service and General Machining / Workshop requirements.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS

• Trade qualifications
• Machining skills
• Fitting skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
• Be versatile to undertake various tasks in a day
