We are seeking a Production Supervisor with Lathe or Machine centre skills to Oversee the CNC workshop. Based in the Heidelberg area the successful candidate will be working alongside 15 other trade qualified staff in a low volume workshop. The environment is clean and consists of the latest CNC machine technology. They are offering onsite parking and a position within a company where most staff have been for many years.

Your position will involve the following:

• Supervision: Lead and manage a team of machinists and CNC operators, providing guidance, training and support.
• CNC Programming: Utilize software to create and modify CNC programs for various machining centres.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain strict quality control standards.
• Machine Maintenance: Co-ordinate and schedule regular maintenance and any repairs of CNC machines.
• Production Scheduling: Plan and oversee daily production schedules.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by team members.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and tooling.
• Cost Management: Identify cost saving opportunities and efficient improvement.
• Training and Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Setup and operating: CNC machines when the production needed.

You will work alongside the director and will be involved in various duties.

We need trades people that have the following skills:

• CNC Programming experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Trade qualifications.
• Production Scheduling
• Excellent communication skills.
• Inventory and Cost Management
• Experience doing a variety of low volume machining.

Salary will depend on skills and experiences. This is a long term permanent position where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact.
