The opportunity for an FPGA Engineer to join a revolutionary start up working at the frontier of deep technology has opened up in the Oxford area.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Engage in every stage of the product lifecycle, from defining specifications to early models and final production.
- Break down system-level needs into specific technical requirements and system designs, converting these into FPGA-based solutions.
- Create and implement FPGA systems, with coding in languages like VHDL or Verilog, for applications such as signal handling, data collection, and control mechanisms.
- Develop and apply communication methods (e.g., Ethernet, PCI, USB, UART, SPI, I2C) for linking with external devices and systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of direct experience with the design and debugging of digital and analogue hardware interfaces.
- A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering or similar disciplines.
- Knowledge of design and verification tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Vitis, System Verilog and UVM.
- Experience with standard FPGA and SoC architectures.
- Familiarity with C/C++ or similar for the development of embedded software.
- Experience with QuestaSim or ModelSim.
