We are looking for Vendor Inspection Coordinator for one of our clients with the following details:

Starting date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Renewable:Yes

Location: Paris, at the Contractor premises (Paris area, France)

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Professional Experience (years): min 10 years of QA/QC experience Experience in similar position (years): mini 5 years in similar role
  • Level / Diploma: Engineer Degree Languages: English mandatory

Missions:

  • The service holder (based at CONTRACTOR’S main engineering site) assists the Quality Leader (based at main CONTRACTOR'S Construction site), for surveillance of Engineering and Procurement activities.
  • He works closely with the Package Engineering, Package leaders, and with the Package discipline specialists.
  • He provides when requested support to concerned (COMPANY and CONTRACTOR side) within his area of responsibilities and knowledge
  • The job holder is responsible for monitoring and supervising the CONTRACTOR and its supply chain management to ensure that QA/QC contractual and technical requirements are duly applied within the Engineering, Procurement & Supply activities.
  • The job holder ensures that surveillance requirements are duly and satisfactory considered by CONTRACTOR (in accordance with criticality rating outputs and contract). He ensures of the correct implementation of the Vendor's Inspection and Test and Surveillance plans (ITP's), identifying as necessary the needs for involvement from COMPANY in the surveillance activities, and coordinating the requested inspections in conjunction with the Quality Leader and other Project/Package leaders.
  • The job holder ensures that CONTRACTOR'S surveillance is exercised through performance of audits, reviews and other
  • monitoring activities, as per usual quality practices.
  • He is responsible for coordinating the relevant and necessary Surveillance activities performed on behalf of the Package.
  • He is responsible for preparation of the documentation needed for inspection and for ensuring that Inspections are well planned and organised with the appropriate and approved documentation.
  • The job holder assists when requested to Engineering and Procurement meetings with CONTRACTOR, and reports adequately (areas of concerns, problems encountered in the implementation of the Surveillance and Inspection Plan by the CONTRACTOR, and the like) to the Package Managers/Leaders and discipline specialists.
  • As a general manner, the job holder ensures that CONTRACTOR is enforcing his contractual commitments, is implementing properly his overall Quality responsibilities and objectives and is safely, properly and timely performing his activities as per Contract specifications, design and codes; and the job holder provides assistance and support to the Package for all Quality related matters.
