Our client is a leading company that is dedicated to supporting customers that are supplied into a range of industries, their product quality is recognised as second to none. Due to growth and a strong order book into 2025 they are looking for a Controls & Automation Engineer to join their close knit teams

Roles and Responsibilities

Designing electrical systems, Developing schematics, layouts, and specifications for electrical components

Troubleshooting control systems for automation processes, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.

Maintaining accurate documentation of designs, specifications, test results

Equipment selection and procurement, Identifying and selecting appropriate electrical components and equipment

 

Key Skills & Experience

HND/Degree qualified in a relevant field.

Proven experience in PLC/HMI/SCADA – Working knowledge with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Bekhoff would be advantageous

Good general electrical understanding of single & 3 phase electrical control design/circuits including Inverter drives.

Good IT skills.

Ability to author and control FDS, FATs, SATs, Manuals, installation RAMS and other project related documentation.
