About Us: Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is looking for experienced and dedicated agency nurses to join our team in the Northern Rivers region. Position: Medical/Surgical Nurses

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical and surgical units.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, surgical procedures, and recovery plans.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays (penalties apply).
