My Logistics client based in Sandymount, Dublin is recruiting for an EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving excellence in the safety and compliance of day-to-day operations.
The EHS Manager, based in Sandymount, Dublin, will report into the Site Director and will be a key player in the company’s Health and Safety strategy.
Key Responsibilities of the EHS Manager based in Sandymount, Dublin:
- You will ensure the delivery of Health, Safety and Environment objectives and KPIs, in line with company EHS strategy, local plans and customer service and statutory requirements.
- You will lead in maintaining and enhancing all Health, Safety and Environmental standards in operational delivery, ensuring all statutory requirements are met across the site.
- You will ensure all new and existing activities are carried out in compliance with agreed quality standards, you will advise on and influence changes to working practises due to changes in legislation/policy as well as to enhance operations.
- Ensure any accidents and incidents are appropriately documented, investigated and reported in line with current legislation and internal requirements
- Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are properly implemented and followed.
- You will keep up to date with relevant legislation and any developments, maintaining a working knowledge of all HSA legislation and its impact on operations.
Key Responsibilities of the EHS Manager based in Sandymount, Dublin:
- You will have demonstrable experience leading health and safety in an industrial environment
- You will ideally be NEBOSH qualified (or working towards) and have a proven track record of changing and embedding working practices in an operational environment.
- You will have previous experience carrying out Health & Safety audits, implementing any improvements required and ensuring compliance.
- You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, with a proven track record of influencing a diverse range of stakeholders.
- You will have experience of presenting complex information and ensuring it is understood by all parties.
