Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Lecturer to teach Taxation, to join the School of Accounting and Commercial Law at the Wellington School of Business and Government.

The role will involve teaching courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as developing an independent research agenda and supervising research students. The successful applicant is also expected to assist with the development of programme curriculum and to take on appropriate service roles in contribution to the effective administration and management of the School.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

The incumbent will be an active researcher and enthusiastic teacher, with a record of peer-reviewed journal publications commensurate with the level of appointment. As well as teaching Taxation, the successful candidate will also be expected to teach Accounting. Experience in establishing successful relationships with professional and practitioner groups would also be desirable.

Applicants should have a PhD. However, applicants who are close to completing their PhD will also be considered.
