We are looking for a Senior Geol Data Manager for one of our clients with the following details:  

Start Date: April 2025

Location: Namibia

Duration: 6 to 8 months

Rotation: 4 teams in rotation

Work Shift: 3 shifts, 8 hours per shift

Qualification and background

• Degree in Geology, Geophysics, or Geological Data Management.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in mining or exploration projects.
• Proficiency with specialized geological data management and analysis softwarem(e.g., Micromine, Leapfrog, SQL).
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in rotations with extended shifts (3 shifts, 8 hours per shift).
• Ability to adapt in a multicultural and dynamic

Activities

• Oversee the collection, quality control, and analysis of geological data.
• Develop and maintain accurate and structured geological databases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate and train teams involved in data management.
• Collaborate with geologists and other specialists to interpret results and provide recommendations.
• Participate in the strategic planning of data-related activities.
