We are looking for a Test Technician for one of our clients with the following details:  

Starting date: ASAP

Location: Cholet (49), France

Contract duration: one-year interim contract (one-month trial period)  

6 month interim contract which will be renewed for another 6 months

Language: French required

Allowances/Accommodation allowance: if you do not live near the Cholet region – eligibility: distance from place of residence / place of work is greater than or equal to 50 km (round trip) – 80 euros/day

Skills required:

With a Bac+2 or equivalent education, you ideally have proven experience in the field of system production.

You have:

• Experience in the defence sector required
• Experience testing on physical hardware, computer and hardware calibration;
• Experience in metrology;
• Knowledge of conducting electrical and climatic tests;
• Knowledge of computer science, IP networks and operation/configuration of network equipment such as switches, routers, servers;
• Knowledge of SATCOM networks, radios;
• Knowledge of SINDU and IVV Management tools;
• Fieldwork;
• Editorial quality;
• Your professional entourage recognizes your autonomy and rigor, as well as your versatility.

Your missions:

• Participate, according to Project needs, in the system qualification phase;
• Support the Industrialization Manager in the drafting of test procedures;
• Conduct validation/verification development and testing to ensure the proper functioning of the Systems;
• Carry out analyses, controls and maintenance on products in operation according to Project needs;
• To carry out test instructions from instructions and with the help of measuring instruments;
• Write control reports or reports;
• Carry out self-monitoring of achievements;
• To identify anomalies or non-conformities and to exercise, if necessary, its duty to alert;
• Initiate the root cause analysis and issue initial proposals for curative, corrective and preventive actions;
• Participate, depending on the Projects, in the acceptances of constituents with our Suppliers and Partners (Fr and Europe);
• Participate, depending on the Projects, in Customer acceptances on the industrial site and possibly the customer site;
• Ensure the traceability of operations and configuration management;
• Implement the prevention measures put in place and comply with the Health, Safety and Environment rules;
• Contribute to the dissemination of the culture of continuous improvement (Lean, Industry 4.0,...);
• Support, at the business level, newcomers (process, rules of the art,...).
