We are looking for Technical Safety Engineering Services for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: London (FEED phase) then at the EPC contractor's site.

Start Date: December 23, 2024.

Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable).

Status: Residential.

Qualification and Experience Required:

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Senior Technical Security Engineer or equivalent.
• Languages: Fluent English is mandatory.

Professional experience:

• More than 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years on similar projects.
• Proven expertise in technical security and risk management related to design and operations.

Activities and Responsibilities

Literature review:

• Review contract documents, responsibility matrices, design bases, technical specifications, and company standards.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary verification of documents related to his/her field.

Supervision of safety studies:

• Review hazard identification and consequence assessment exercises.
• Supervise safety studies (EER, falling objects, flare radiation, etc.).
• Participate in the classification of hazardous areas and examine fire and gas matrices.

Design and audits:

• Validate drawings of fire protection, evacuation, and emergency route systems.
• Participate in the design of fire protection, fire detection and EER systems.
• Check the specifications of fire protection and rescue equipment.

Coordination and documentation:

• Coordinate the preparation of packages for security reviews (HAZID, FIREPRAN, HAZOP, SIL).
• Prepare related reports.
• Update engineering documentation and drawings.

Risk analysis:

• Assist with hydraulic analyses of fire water systems.
• Contribute to risk analyses and reliability studies.
• Oversee noise control activities.

HSE compliance:

• Verify the correct integration of HSE aspects into design and supplier documentation.
• Ensure alignment with HSE standards and local regulations.
