We are looking for a Home Office Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning (PC&C) Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Qualification and Experience Required:
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning roles, with a strong background in process engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, 3D model tools, and completion tools (e.g., Icaps, Easyplant).
- Practical mindset with excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in onshore or offshore Oil & Gas industries in similar roles.
- Recognized technical qualifications relevant to the position.
- Proven knowledge and experience in commissioning and start-up activities.
Seeking a Home Office Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning (PC&C) Engineer to join the preparation phase of the project. This role is critical for ensuring that all PC&C activities are prepared and planned in alignment with contractual requirements, quality standards, project schedules, and allocated budgets.
Reporting to the Commissioning Lead Engineer, the successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure commissioning readiness and seamless execution.
Responsibilities
Main Duties:
- Ensure the preparation and planning of PC&C activities adhere to the schedule, budget, and contractual obligations.
- Identify and report any technical issues or safety concerns to the hierarchy.
- Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to integrate PC&C requirements into detailed designs.
- Perform systemization tasks, including system marked-up drawings and tag-to[1]subsystem allocations for completion database integration.
- Develop and update general commissioning procedures and detailed method statements, incorporating client feedback.
- Work with the handover and completion team to populate completion tools.
- Prepare technical studies for key PC&C activities (e.g., steam blowing, cooling water commissioning, refractory dry-out, fuel gas in, chemical cleaning).
- Define the scope of work for commissioning subcontractors and assist the subcontracting team in bid evaluations.
- Collaborate with company representatives, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient communication and cohesive project execution.
- Identify process improvements and lessons learned to enhance work quality.
Specific Tasks:
- Review and comment on PFDs, P&IDs, and discipline drawings to provide inputs for commissioning and start-up requirements.
- Define systems and subsystems on PFDs and P&IDs.
- Develop commissioning sequences and assist the planning team in creating detailed Level 3 and Level 4 PC&C schedules.
- Create method statements and project procedures for commissioning and start[1]up activities.
- Participate in supplier clarifications and bidding processes to incorporate commissioning requirements into designs.
- Coordinate with disciplines involved in project execution and participate in multidisciplinary reviews (e.g., 3D model, HAZOP, PID reviews).
- Prepare commissioning specifications and procedures in line with contractual requirements and project standards.
- Develop detailed lists of vendors, spare parts, tools, consumables, and temporary equipment to ensure availability during execution.
- Review engineering technical specifications and supplier documents.
- Customize conformity check sheets and test sheets (Quality Control Forms) as per project specifications and standards.
- Provide inputs for technical workshops and progress reporting (weekly/monthly)
