THE ROLE

I am now seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who is Degree or Diploma and MRICS qualified with a couple of years or more quantity surveying experience to work in Finland.

This role can be at intermediate or senior level depending on your experience.

This is a great opportunity to join a small office of an already established firm of PQS who are expanding in Finland and elsewhere.

Projects are various and include residential, commercial and industrial.

THE CLIENT

Our client is a go ahead firm of private practice quantity surveyors with offices in the Nordics and in London.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor with a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or Building Economics and you will ideally be MRICS qualified from just chartered level or more experienced.

You need to be able to speak and write fluent English. 

Any experience of speaking Finnish would be useful or your should be interested in learning.

You should have gained your experience working for a firm of private practice quantity surveyors.

You will need to be able to run your own projects.

You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management and agreement of final accounts. Some experience of measuring is essential.

It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.
