Our client, a healthcare focused association, is currently seeking a direct-hire Government Affairs Manager to join their team in Washington, DC!
About You:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 4+ years of Hill/lobbying/government relations experience required.
- Must be knowledgeable about health policy with a passion for healthcare is preferred.
- Currently registered as a lobbyist or be willing to get registered.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and build new relationships.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in the DC office 3x/week.
The Job:
- Develop and maintain relationships on Capitol Hill to drive the association’s public policy agenda.
- Manage a portfolio of federal health and healthcare related issues.
- Serve as a registered lobbyist representing the association.
- Engage consistently with membership base to best represent industry-wide public policy agendas on Capitol Hill.
- Collaborate with leadership to prepare strategic initiatives that will benefit member organizations.
