Hours: Level 2 Nurse, 72 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Are you an experienced Clinical Nurse with a passion for dementia care, looking for a meaningful opportunity in a supportive environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our client’s not-for-profit aged care facility in the charming coastal city of Devonport, Tasmania.

About the Role:
As a Clinical Nurse specializing in dementia care, you will be an integral part of our 127-resident facility, focusing on the Memory Support Unit. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents with dementia.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best practice approaches.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) on the floor.
  • Engaging with residents' families, representatives, allied health professionals, and GPs to ensure holistic care.
  • Upholding the highest clinical standards and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
