An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vauxhall Motors (Stellantis) in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Located just off junction 6/7 of the M53, Vauxhall Motors is a well-established car manufacturer in the area and is looking to expand its team at site.

Main purpose of a Vehicle Painter
Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring the vehicles are finished to the highest standard for our customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Paint Unit Manager.

Paint Sprayer responsibilities:
• Paint preparation of the vehicle
• Spray painting required vehicles
• Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a perfect match
• Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly

Production Operative required skills:
• Previous experience in a similar role (ideal)
• You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
• You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
• Excellent attention to detail
• A high level of self-motivation and tenacity

Production Operative Pay & Shifts:
Days: 06:45 AM- 15:15 PM, 40 hours/ week at Standard Rate: £14.97/ hour, Overtime Rate: £22.46 Afternoons: 14:40- 23:30, 40 hours/ week at Standard Rate: £18.26, Overtime Rate: £27.40
Double Days: 2 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons at Standard Rate: £16.62, Overtime Rate: £24.93
Nights: 20:30- 06:00, 40 hours/week at Standard Rate: £19.91, Overtime: £29.86
Rotating 3 shifts: Standard Rate: £17.71, Overtime Rate: £26.56
*All hours worked on Sunday paid at double time
