About the Role as a Freight Agent:

  • The willingness to get your hands dirty (metaphorically or literally).
  • A self-starter who can work independently but knows when to collaborate.
  • Confidence to take initiative and speak up.
  • Strong computer skills (bonus points if you’ve used Logitude).
  • An understanding of international freight and logistics's or the drive to learn quickly.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Master Coordinator: Oversee shipments by air, sea, road, and courier with precision and care.
  • Supplier Liaison: Build and maintain great relationships with shipping lanes, airlines, trucking firms, and other freight suppliers.
  • Document Wizard: Produce and manage shipping documents and labels like a pro.
  • Warehouse Helper: Pitch in with general warehousing duties when needed because teamwork is key.
  • Freight Detective: Keep clients updated with shipment progress and resolve issues as they arise.
