Salary: GBP22000 - GBP25000 per annum

3 days per week | some flexibility on days/hours to suit
Central Edinburgh based | hybrid working available
6-month contract | strong potential for the role to become permanent
Salary up to £25,000 pro-rata (depending on experience) + benefits

Search Consultancy are currently working with an Edinburgh based client to recruit a talented & experienced Scheduler / Co-ordinator who will be responsible for the organisation & management of the company’s works & contractor network, ensuring that the best possible service is delivered to the company’s end customers.

Duties involved in this role will include:

  • Acting as first point of contact & liaison with the company’s supply chain via telephone, email & correspondence
  • Allocating work to the sub-contractor network, ensuring that work is completed in line with SLA’s and to requirements, whilst providing the best possible service
  • Taking ownership of issues and ensuring that work is followed through to completion, chasing when necessary
  • Monitoring the progress of allocated works via the company’s bespoke IT systems
  • Supporting with the delivery of KPI’s across your designated area
  • Attend monthly review meetings with both sub-contractors & senior management
  • Ensuring that accurate notes are kept on all cases on the company’s internal systems
  • Carrying out various other ad-hoc duties & administration as directed


In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

  • Extensive previous experience in a role involving scheduling, co-ordination of works & administration – candidates who have previous experience of sub-contractor management and dealing with senior stakeholders will be at a distinct advantage
  • A full UK driving license as there will be some requirement to visit sites
  • Excellent communication & relationship building skills, both written and verbal with experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels of business & the public effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a very busy workload effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
  • Solid IT skills including the use of the Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) – experience of PowerBI would be preferred but this is not essential
